Seminars

When several churches cooperate to sponsor a seminar they are often held in a "neutral" setting where people from the co-operating churches are comfortable. High school auditoriums, hotel banquet rooms, convention centers, or other public facilities are favorite venues. More frequently the seminars are sponsored by a single congregation in their own facility.

There are four seminars. In order to gain the benefit of all the seminars they must be scheduled separately; either consecutively, or at intervals. For example three months apart, or six months or a year, according to the desire or convenience of your congregation. There is a recommended order, however, each seminar stands alone, and can be scheduled in any order, and at any time.

Each seminar is six hours. It can be scheduled for one Saturday all day. Or for two or three evenings during the week; or as a week-end retreat.

Four Distinct SFMI Seminars

#1-- God's Eternal Purpose: The Making of Man in God's Image. An overview of God's plan from creation to eternity. This seminar has proved an eye-opener to many who have heard it. It is so foundational we have placed it first in our recommended order.

#2-- Renewing the Mind and Defining Discipleship: The subject of the second seminar because a renewed mind and discipleship are prerequisites to fulfilling God's purpose in our lives.

#3-- Spiritual Warfare: The subject of our third seminar and a matter of great importance, capturing the interest of a majority of believers.

#4-- The Great Commission: The subject of our fourth seminar and the bottom line of the Church's responsibility. All else being in place this will result.
