Since I was about 16 years old, my greatest desire has been to take the gospel where it is least known. However, I did not want to go unless God sent me. I began to consider a specific area in Ecuador that the Lord brought to my attention through my good friend Jesse Barnard. In the beginning of 2020, God confirmed to me that this was the place He wanted me to prepare for. Soon after, I began my ministry there but then returned to the States where I became engaged. In July 2022 I married Mary Witt, and she and I returned to Ecuador in February 2023. The burden God is putting on our hearts is to be led by the Holy Spirit in preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and in discipleship as described in 2 Timothy 2:2. This is a long-term vision of living and serving with Jesse and Tess Barnard in the jungle of Ecuador.
